The Doctor Behind Renew Spine & Wellness

Dr. Cody McClintock has been practicing chiropractic care in Newark, Ohio since 2014 — not because it was the next step in a career plan, but because he watched it change the trajectory of his father's life.

Why Chiropractic, and Why Newark

Dr. Cody's father was facing spinal surgery. Chiropractic care changed that outcome. That experience didn't just point him toward a profession — it shaped how he practices. Before chiropractic school, Dr. Cody studied nutrition at Ohio State University. He wanted to understand the whole picture, not just the symptom presenting in front of him. That dual background is what distinguishes Renew Spine & Wellness from a standard chiropractic office. Adjustments matter. So does what you eat, how you move, and what's driving the problem underneath.

What to Expect When You See Dr. Cody

Every appointment at Renew Spine & Wellness is conducted by Dr. Cody. Not a rotating associate, not a chiropractic assistant. The practice is structured intentionally around one-on-one, doctor-led care — because continuity matters in a clinical relationship, and because you should never have to re-explain your history to a different provider each time you walk in.

We don't overbook. We don't rush. The time you're given is yours.

Your first visit begins with a full health review, X-rays if indicated, and same-day initial treatment. The goal from the first appointment is to understand the root cause of what's happening — and to start addressing it before you leave.

Part of This Community for Over a Decade

Dr. Cody is active with Newark teachers, first responders, and local organizations. Renew Spine & Wellness has built referral relationships with midwives and birth professionals across the Newark and Granville area over the course of twelve years. That network exists because of trust earned through consistent clinical results and honest communication.

When chiropractic is the right answer for a patient, we say so. When it isn't, we say that too.

Patients in Newark, Granville, Heath, Pataskala, and Hebron have come to Renew for family chiropractic care, prenatal and postpartum support, pediatric care, spinal decompression, and nutrition counseling. Many have stayed for years. Many have referred their families.

Our Process

From confusion to a plan you can follow

If you’re dealing with long-standing symptoms, the first step is creating clarity—what’s most likely driving the pattern and what matters most right now. Then we build a care plan that combines the right tools in the right order, with clear priorities. As you respond, we adjust the plan to keep progress steady and measurable.

1

Understand the full story

We review your symptoms, health history, and goals to identify the pattern, not just the loudest symptom. This helps choose the right starting point instead of guessing.

2

Build a coordinated plan

Your care may combine chiropractic, acupuncture, functional approaches, and targeted therapies depending on your needs. Each recommendation has a purpose, so the plan feels organized and doable.

Track and refine

We watch for changes in function, comfort, energy, sleep, and stability. Then we refine the plan to keep momentum moving in the right direction.
